How to get to the congress venue

By train

From station Berlin-Hauptbahnhof
When arriving at Berlin-Hauptbahnhof please take the Bus M41 (direction “Sonnenallee/Baumschulenstraße”) and disembark at station “Ziegrastraße”. From there it takes a little walk of 5 min to the Estrel hotel (total journey time: approx. 45 min).

From Station Berlin-Ostbahnhof
When arriving at Berlin-Ostbahnhof please take the S-Bahn (any line) heading east to station “Ostkreuz” and switch to the S41 until you reach “Sonnenallee”. From there it takes a little walk of 5 min to the Estrel hotel (total journey time: approx. 25 min).

By plane

From Airport Berlin Schönefeld
When arriving at the airport Berlin-Schönefeld please take the bus (direction “U Herrmannplatz”) to the station “S Sonnenallee”. From there it takes a little walk of 5 min to the Estrel hotel (total journey time: approx. 50 min).

From Airport Berlin Tegel
When arriving at the airport Berlin-Tegel please take the express bus X9 (direction “S and U Zoologischer Garten”) until you reach the station “S and U Jungfernheide”. Then change into the circle line S42 and drop off at “S Sonnenallee”. From there it takes a little walk of 5 min to the Estrel hotel (total journey time: approx. 50 min).

By car

Motorway 114 – from Prenzlau

  • Follow B109 Prenzlauer Promenade in direction city centre/Alexanderplatz
  • From there follow direction to Kottbusser Tor until you have reached Sonnenallee 225

Motorway 115 – from Hannover/Leipzig

  • Motorway intersection Funkturm, take A100 towards direction Wilmersdorf
  • After 14 km on the A 100 turn right into Grenzallee until you have reached Sonnenallee 225

Motorway 111 – from Hamburg/Rostock

  • A 111 (E 26) from direction Hamburg/Rostock
  • Motorway intersection Oranienburg, follow A111 in direction of Berlin-Zentrum/Airport Berlin-Tegel
  • Take exit Berlin-Zentrum/Berlin-Reinickendorf and follow the A100 until you reach Grenzallee/Sonnenallee

Environmental zone: ESTREL Hotel and Convention Center is located close to an environmental zone. Therefore we recommend to purchase an appropriate windscreen sticker. The stickers are issued by the vehicle registration authority and by exhaust gas test organizations such as TÜV and DEKRA. Specific traffic signs have been mounted on the roads clearly showing where the environmental zone begins.

Please be aware, that driving a vehicle inside the environmental zone without the appropriate sticker is an official offence.

    EUR 1.30 (If you are travelling a maximum of 3 urban rail (S-Bahn) or underground (U-Bahn) stations, or 6 bus or tram stops, then you should take advantage of our short-trip fare.)

    during the two-hour period of validity, but your ticket is not valid for return or round trips.)

    EUR 2.80 (You may make as many stops or transfers as you like
    during the two-hour period of validity, but your ticket is not valid for return or round trips.)
  • Day ticket (zone AB)
    EUR 6.10 (After validating the ticket you can use it until 3.00 p.m. the next day)
  • 7-day pass (zone AB)
    EUR 26.20 (The pass is valid from the time of validation on the first day to midnight
    on the 7th day thereafter. It is valid for the fare zones listed on it and transferable.)
  • WelcomeCard (zone AB)
    EUR 16.50 (After validating the WelcomeCard, you can use it for 48 hours on all public transport services in zones AB.)
    EUR 21.50 (After validating the WelcomeCard, you can use it for 72 hours on all public transport services in zones AB.)
